Nowadays it is easier to find computers in a classroom than a teacher. Although I think that students should be taught to use them and know their application in their lives, I strongly believe that it is a huge mistake to leave our children’s education in machines’ hands.

Firstly, many pupils have writing problems because of the use of text editors. That kind of programs check and correct their mistakes immediately. As a result, they would lose their handwriting skills and increase their computer dependence.

Moreover, computers are reducing our children arts and crafts abilities. For instance, it is absolutely impossible to learn how to play music without having a musical instrument in your hands.

In contrast, the teachers who use computers are brought the chance to use audiovisual material that can help the children remember information quickly.

To sum up, I feel that the introduction of computers at schools would be positive if they are used in a good way. However, we must be aware that teachers should be part of our children’s education because there are values and some knowledge that can’t be taught by machines.
